Created for The Folio Society, this series of stills and short films presented a mixed collection of books within a warm, contemporary lifestyle setting. The aim was to move away from traditional display-led imagery and show the books as beautiful objects that are genuinely lived with, read and enjoyed.

Combining a carefully constructed physical set with controlled studio lighting and virtual production backgrounds, we created the atmosphere of a bright, thoughtfully styled home. Soft highlights, gentle shadows and minimal props gave the imagery a natural, lived-in quality while allowing the books’ foils, cloth bindings, illustrations and craftsmanship to remain the focus.

The result is a timeless and versatile collection of imagery that feels warm, inviting and authentic, bringing the tactile beauty of each edition to life across both stills and motion.
