Absolutely! Our production team is fully trained in operating the industry standard Phantom range of high-speed cameras. This allows us to fulfil all slow-motion requirements including splashes, liquid and explosions. In fact, it’s one of our favourite things to do! 1000fps in 4K offers huge creative freedom and can help showcase your products in a completely new way.

Absolutely, we have a full-time team of talented in-house post-production specialists trained in various programs including DaVinci Resolve and After Effects. Experienced editors and colourists, they can always be relied upon to deliver dynamically edited and beautifully colour graded final films.

We’ll always keep the client up to date with running costs during post production and clients are always encouraged to attend the studio where possible to work directly with our team during the various stages of post.

Yes, our spacious 5000 sq.ft (464 m2) East London studio is included in the standard rates. Set over two floors, the studio boasts 3 shooting spaces, dedicated kitchen facilities, as well as meeting & working areas.

For larger scale shoots, the two downstairs shoot spaces can be amalgamated into one larger space to suit the requirements of the shoot.

With street-level access and a large loading bay we are able to accommodate heavy-duty equipment such as large motion control robots or vehicles.

Our in-house equipment includes Sony cine cameras enabling us to shoot everything from engaging social content to broadcast quality footage. They allow us the flexibility to shoot both 8K video alongside 50MP stills for unparalleled versatility from a single camera and lighting setup.

Additionally, these high resolution sensors allow for great flexibility in post-production including panning & zooming, as well as cropping for a variety of delivery and usage requirements.

Our advanced, fully programmable motion control system gives us full track, pan, tilt and focus control for creating exciting and dynamic camera moves.

Our in house lighting includes film lights from industry leaders Arri. We stock both daylight temperature HMI lighting as well as Arri Tungsten, perfect for warmer scenes and skin tones. We also own a range of iconic Dedolights for delicate control of macro details and textures.

We typically shoot using our beautiful set of Zeiss PL Prime Cine lenses giving all of our shoots a rich, filmic optical feel with beautiful cinematic Bokeh where required.

Yes, and this is strongly encouraged! Having the clients on set and working closely with us during the shoot always guarantees the most efficient use of shoot time and we also pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere on set!

Yup, we have dedicated working areas in our spacious studio for our clients, including a private meeting pod. We also boast a superfast dedicated 200Mbps fibre leased line connection, guaranteeing clients stutter-free Zoom calls and near seamless sharing of rushes on the day.

Yes, we have a fully fitted upstairs kitchen perfect for all food shoot needs.

Yes, there is plenty of free unrestricted parking in the business park directly in front of the studio.

Yes, we do! Lux offers its clients a home cooked, sit-down lunch every day! Granted, we’re not a catering firm, so for the largest scale productions external catering might be required - but we’ll let you know if this is the case. Otherwise, it’s the talented Danny or Sadie that will be feeding you on shoot days.
